The city of Takoma Park is about a five-minute walk from the Takoma Metro station in Washington, DC, which runs on the Red line. The nominal location of the city is situated at the crossroads of Route 195 and Route 410. Route 29 is a major north-south road in the area and connects residents with the nation’s capital.
